Background
Since all members of the group are college students, we wanted to create an easy to cook, fast, and delicious product for those in similar shoes as ours. Within the first week of our product development, we tossed around different ideas about which products we thought would be desirable. We came up with three different initial ideas that we thought would be appealing to a consumer, yet containing individual uniqueness in some way. The three products we decided on are as listed: chicken cheese sticks, buffalo chicken poppers, and chick-a-loaf (chicken meatloaf). The reason we selected chicken cheese sticks is because this product will attract the younger generation and the late night snacker, and will be an easy product to prepare as a convenient snack. The Flamin’ Hot Cheetos breading adds more flavor and eye appeal to the consumer than the traditional breading making it more desirable.
